Who We Are
The Fort Loudoun Lake Association is a group of dedicated conservationists who work together to keep the water in Fort Loudoun Lake
clean for everyone to enjoy. We have divided the lake, from the Forks of the River to the Fort Loudoun Dam, into 8 ”zones”, each overseen by one of our zone managers on a daily basis to reduce trash and boating hazards on our lake. We cannot improve the quality of the water in Fort Loudoun Lake without improving the quality of the water coming into the Lake. Many of our efforts are dedicated to cleaning the water from our watershed as well. See our article about ”What Is A Watershed?”. Our mission is to give people who live, work and recreate on or near Fort Loudoun Lake a voice in protecting and enhancing the economic benefits and quality-of-life values of clean water.

”The service we render to others is really the rent we pay for our room on this earth. It is obvious that man is himself a traveler; that the purpose of this world is not ’to have and to hold’ but ’to give and to serve’. There can be no other meaning.”
